Sammy’s 3rd Birthday – PlayDoh & Lollipops

Sammy’s party was well and truly thrown together at the last minute. Lucky for me, I have some great friends that offer all the things that make an event a party. It also doesn’t hurt that I know a thing or two about balloon artistry πŸŽˆπŸ˜‹

It went largely unplanned because I wasn’t sure I’d be ready to host a gathering after the tough year we had. This was to be the first event since the passing of my Nanna and I was struggling with the idea. It didn’t feel right and I went back and forth about whether I should do it up until the very last minute and even after we’d already invited people.

In the end I decided that this is what she would have wanted so I went with a theme that is so very Sammy – PlayDoh and Lollipops (he’s rarely seen without one or the other) and I incorporated rainbows as a reminder to my kids (and me) that no matter what there will always be rainbows 🌈
